Event Description: This is your opportunity to learn first hand about the world's oldest Fraternity - Freemasonry. I bet most of you have heard of the Shriners of the Shriners' Hospitals, but how many of you knew that to be a Shriner you have to be a Mason? If you've ever wondered why so many of our Founding Fathers were Masons or why the Masonic Fraternity has appeared in so many books and movies this is the place to find out. You'll get the chance to meet and talk with local Masons. Ask those questions about Masonry you've always wanted to and enjoy some fine food and drink at the same time. If you're looking for something more in your life and the opportunity to associate yourself with men of good character - Freemasonry might just be for you!!!

OCTOBER MASONIC OPEN HOUSE!!!
Our meetup this month will be an Open House at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple Followed by the Progress Lodge #22 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off. If you've never been inside the Masonic Building on South Temple, this is your chance!!! Tours of the builiding will be given at the following times 6pm and 6:30pm. After these time not all the rooms in the Temple will be available to view, so please make sure you arrive in time for one of the tours. Around 7pm will have our Chili Cook-off and you'll have time to talk and mingle with the members of Progress Lodge #22 and ask any questions you have about the fraternity of Freemasonry. Please RSVP if you plan to attend and bring any friends and family that you'd like. If anyone has questions feel free to drop me an email.

Parking at the Temple is located at the back of the building.
